With the XLC TO-S69 chain wear gauge, you can easily determine the degree of wear of your bicycle and e-bike chain.

Application:

  • Depending on the degree of wear (elongation), the wear gauge falls between 2 chain links.
  • With a brand new chain (unstretched) the gauge remains on the chain.
  • With increasing wear, this gauge falls between the chain links.
  • With the XLC chain wear gauge, a lengthening of 0.75 (still good) and 1 % (chain change makes sense) can be determined.
  • The measurement is taken over a length of 10 chain links.
