The heart of the SRAM Eagle AXS™ system is the AXS™ rear derailleur. It is much more than just a mechanical rear derailleur upgraded with a battery and motor. Thanks to a 10 mm shorter shift cage, it sits further forward and further inwards than the mechanical Eagle™ rear derailleur and thus has more ground clearance and a larger cassette wrap.

Lightning-fast assembly thanks to Cage Lock

The CAGE LOCK™ technology ensures quick and easy removal and installation of the rear wheel. Chain installation is also quick to do. Simply push the cage forward and lock it.
