The SHIMANO XT SW-M9050 Di2 - the measure of all things - is developed and optimised for one thing: MTB racing. This extremely lightweight shifter guarantees fast and intuitive shifting in all conditions. The ergonomically optimised levers of the Firebolt shifter follow the natural hand movement. In addition, they are independently adjustable in their position. This results in effortless and extremely comfortable and precise shifting even in extreme conditions such as cold.

SHIMANO's eTUBE PROJECT software allows the shifter to be individually programmed and adjusted to personal preferences.

FIREBOLT
The ergonomic design of the lever, adapted to the natural movement of the hand, ensures fast intuitive shifting with little effort. The individual levers are independently adjustable in position. Firebolt levers feature index shifting for short operating travel.

SEIS (SHIMANO ELECTRONIC INTELLIGENT SYSTEM)
The innovative computer-controlled shifting system based on the Di2 concept continues to be based on the Shimano Index System (SIS), which has proven itself over the years with its superior shifting performance. The difference is that the shifting process is carried out electronically and not mechanically. Even under extreme conditions such as mud, cold or rider fatigue, shifting is always precise and fast by simply pressing a button. Due to the electronically transmitted shift signal, the shifting performance is not impaired in any way. The advantage lies clearly in the rider's ability to concentrate, who is not distracted by shifting gears and always has a firm grip on the handlebars.

E-TUBE
Thanks to the "Plug & Play" connections of the E-TUBE platform and the D-FLY wireless connections, it is easier than ever to check the status of the system and apply customised settings for DI2 and SHIMANO STEPS components using a PC, tablet or smartphone. Functions such as SHIMANO SYNCHRONIZED SHIFT can be adjusted wirelessly via Bluetooth® while riding. An automatic check for firmware updates is performed at every start-up to ensure that all components are running the latest version.
