The SHIMANO FC-EM900 crank as part of the EP8 system has been optimised eMTBs with its robustness for use on . The Hollowtech II technology guarantees excellent stiffness at low weight for direct power transmission. The Q-factor on the EP8 drivetrain is a narrow 177mm, which improves the handling of the bike, especially off-road.

The black anodised EM900 crank with SHIMANO logo perfectly matches the design of your bike thanks to its simple design. It is available in lengths from 160mm to 175mm.

Technology

Hollowtech II - Hollow forged cranks
Lightweight cranks reduce the overall weight of the bike and especially the rotating mass that is crucial for acceleration. The challenge is to reduce the weight of the crank without compromising stability and load capacity. SHIMANO's state-of-the-art forging technology offers an ideal solution with the HOLLOWTECH crank. Just like a high-quality frame tube, the hollow-arm crank is enormously stable and resilient at a very low weight.
