The Shimano Y1VN0500 spacer ring serves as a spacer between individual chain sprockets of the Deore XT CS-M8000 and the SLX CS-M7000 cassette. The 11-speed SLX cassette has a total of 4 spacer rings - between sprockets 3,4,5,6 and 7. On the Shimano XT CS-M8000 cassette, the spacers are installed between sprockets 3 and 4 and between 4 and 5.
