When designing the DEORE components with LINKGLIDE technology, the Japanese bicycle manufacturer SHIMANO attaches great importance to maximum robustness in order to significantly reduce daily wear. This is why the RD-M5130 10-speed rear derailleur has an optimised tooth profile and new shifting aids to ensure that the chain stays on the bike longer.

New LINKGLIDE technology ensures carefree touring

Shimano's new technology ensures smooth shifting and makes cycling jerk-free. Combined with steel components, this system is extremely durable and long-lasting. Even shifting under heavy load is possible thanks to the robust cassette teeth.

Improved stabilisers increase the overall chain stability and the flat profile is ideal for rough terrain.

Note: Shimano Linkglide components are not compatible with other systems
