The SHIMANO SM-RT70 brake disc is part of the SLX group and therefore already has a lot of development know-how. Here you will find the ICE TECHNOLOGIES sandwich structure made of stainless steel layers on the outside with an aluminium core, which absorbs heat better during braking and reduces the surface temperature by up to 100°C.

Considered in the overall system (incl. ICE TECH pads), these properties result in a stable brake with constantly high performance that you can rely on in any situation. Fading and wear are also reduced.

The brake disc is compatible with both organic (resin) and sintered (metal) brake pads. It is mounted on hubs with centre lock.

ICE TECHNOLOGIES
The brake disc consists of a three-layer sandwich structure of stainless steel on the outside around a core of aluminium. It radiates heat better and reduces the surface temperature from 400°C to 300°C, for example.
