The Schwalbe PickUp tyre

Made for e-cargo bikes and heavy loads! An e-cargo bike can easily weigh more than 200 kg. At the same time, it is usually moved along the roads at over 20 km/h. These conditions alone put a tyre to the test. These conditions alone place a number of demands on a tyre. Schwalbe uses years of experience and its vast know-how to bundle exactly the properties in the PickUp to meet these requirements.

The ADDIX E-Compound rubber compound provides excellent grip and extremely low wear with low rolling resistance. And that even at high speeds. The tyre has ECE-R75 certification and is therefore the first choice for fast eBikes up to 50km/h.

In terms of puncture protection, the PickUp convinces with puncture protection level 6+. Schwalbe calls it Super Defense - 6 carcass plies under the tread and five plies on the outside. It is an extremely stable double carcass with 2x67 EPI fabric, which protects the tyre particularly well against damage from sharp objects, punctures or punctures. At the same time, the double carcass brings an extreme amount of stability to the tyre - so it is able to take extremely large loads.

Note: For optimal performance, the manufacturer recommends varying the tyre pressure according to the load of the bike.

Specially developed for eBikes. A rubber compound for maximum durability, low rolling resistance and exceptionally good grip even at high speeds.

E-50
For fast eBikes up to 50 km/h (S-Pedelecs with registration, insurance and pedal assistance even above 25 km/h) a special approval of the tyre is necessary. For these bikes, we recommend eBike tyres with the ECE-R75 approval valid throughout Europe.
