The Schwalbe Nobby Nic - All-rounder with Addix Upgrade

The SCHWALBE Nobby Nic Performance Double Defense folding tyre is a perennial favourite for all-mountain use and has been revised for 2021. Available in all conceivable sizes, it works in pretty much every situation - no matter what the terrain or weather.

The modern trail tread with stable shoulder lugs provides decent traction, the increased spacing of the lugs for excellent self-cleaning and the special arrangement of the centre lugs for better propulsion and braking traction.

The Super Trail carcass is considered a multifunctional tool among carcasses. Consisting of two carcass plies on the sidewall and 3 plies in the tread area, it creates a compromise between moderate weight and low rolling resistance. At the same time, the stable construction shines with high puncture resistance and cornering traction. Additional protection against punctures and cuts is provided by a SnakeSkin fabric around the tyre and an apex under the tread. Of course, the Tubeless Easy technology has a supporting effect here.

Available with two rubber compounds

The Addix Soft rubber compound increases traction, is longer lasting, has good rolling characteristics and ultimately better damping. The Addix Speedgrip compound is the harder compound and therefore makes small sacrifices in terms of traction, but rolls slightly better and wears less.

Equipped with the ECE-R75 certificate Schwalbe Nobby Nic is approved for eBikes up to 50 km/h.

E-50
For fast eBikes up to 50 km/h For fast eBikes (S-Pedelecs with registration, insurance and pedal assistance also over 25 km/h) a special approval of the tyre is necessary. For these bikes, we recommend eBike tyres with the ECE-R75 approval valid throughout Europe.

TUBELESS EASY
The monofilament SnakeSkin fabric on the sidewall makes tubeless conversion for MTB extremely easy and safe. At the same time, it is the best cut protection on the sidewall. Tubeless Easy with SnakeSkin is the excellent tubeless standard of all Schwalbe MTB tyres of the EVOLUTION Line.
