The SCHWALBE JOHNNY WATTS tire was developed specifically for the universally applicable SUV bikes. SCHWALBE's answer to master this tightrope act of various requirements is: JOHNNY WATTS with ADDIX Performance Compound rubber!

The profile of the Performance Line tire covers a wide range of applications from asphalt to off-road. The blocks generate a large contact area for excellent rolling characteristics without vibration paired with high durability or low wear. The cornering behavior on hard surfaces is smooth and good-natured.  This tire rolls quietly whispering on bike paths. At the same time, the lugs also generate decent grip off-road and remove dirt well, thus conveying safety.

The Johnny Watts faces the issue of puncture safety quite confidently with its Double Defense Race Guard carcass. This means double protection consisting of a layer SnakeSkin fabric and a layer RaceGuard around the tire. The puncture protection level here is 5 on a scale of 1 to 7.

The JOHNNY WATTS is approved for e-bikes up to 50km / h and is available in the sizes 27.5 " and 29 ".

Attention.
Only the variant 70-584 (27.5" x 2.8") is approved exclusively for e-bikes up to 25km/h. All others are E-ready up to 50 km/h.

ADDIX PERFORMANCE COMPOUND
Very durable rubber compound with a wide range of requirements. Similar to Speedgrip, it is a universal compound for tires in the Performance Line.

E-50
For fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h For fast e-bikes (S-pedelecs with registration, insurance and pedal assistance also over 25 km/h) a special approval of the tire is necessary. For these bikes, we recommend E-bike tires with the ECE-R75 approval valid throughout Europe.
