The Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro spiked tyre digs its claws into every icy road surface and guarantees incredible performance in spite of the ice slope. 361 spikes made of aluminium bite into the road surface so that the MTB always remains controllable. In addition, the Ice Spiker is equipped with LiteSkin technology, which guarantees an extra stable tyre core. With the double-layered fabric under the tread, you also enjoy ideal puncture protection.

The Ice Spiker should be run in on asphalt for approx. 35 km to ensure that the spikes hold permanently. Strong braking manoeuvres and acceleration should be avoided. It is possible to ride permanently on asphalt, but this will cause running noises.
