The Schwalbe Hurricane is an all-terrain tyre and offers optimal running characteristics on asphalt combined with a lot of grip on light terrain.

This is made possible by its dynamic tread design. The smooth centre rib ensures low rolling resistance. In the transition area, micro-serrations support quiet rolling and provide safety in curves. In light terrain, such as forest paths or gravel roads, the stable shoulder lugs generate a lot of grip.

Ultimately, this tyre is therefore suitable for SUVs, ATBs or MTBs that are frequently used both on and off the road. Equipped with the ECE-R75 certificate, it is approved for eBikes up to 50km/h. The tyre has a very good grip.

Depending on the version, the tyre has very high puncture protection.

Technologies

MTB-DD-GREENGUARD
The combined puncture protection. 3 mm of highly elastic special rubber under the tread with SnakeSkin sidewalls are a very safe choice for bikes and eBikes.

MTB-DD-RACEGUARD
Double protection. All-round SnakeSkin plus RaceGuard under the tread ensure maximum safety for bike and eBike tyres.

RACEGUARD
2 layers of crossed nylon fabric on high-quality 67EPI carcass, for proven protection of light tyres.

E-50
For fast eBikes up to 50 km/h For fast eBikes (S-Pedelecs with registration, insurance and pedal assistance even above 25 km/h) a special tyre approval is necessary. For these bikes we recommend eBike tyres with the ECE-R75 approval valid throughout Europe.

ADDIX PERFORMANCE COMPOUND
Very durable rubber compound with a wide range of requirements. Similar to Speedgrip, it is a universal compound for tyres in the Performance Line.
