Legendary and with a new bite

The Schwalbe Big Betty tyre in a new edition! The cult tyre is equipped with everything Schwalbe has to offer in terms of innovation. Its preferred area of use is off-road and this is best on the rear wheel of an enduro or downhill bike in combination with the Magic Mary at the front.

Extremely strong shoulder lugs generate massive grip in corners. Long, extra-supported braking edges ensure maximum traction under braking and the open profile provides excellent self-cleaning. The lugs literally bite into the ground, making the Big Betty suitable for dry to wet surfaces.

The versatile Super Trail construction, consisting of two carcass plies on the sidewall and three under the tread, brings stability. SnakeSkin fabric all around and an apex are also on board. This overall package effectively protects against damage due to punctures or sharp objects and at the same time ensures a tyre with moderate weight, low rolling resistance and high cornering traction. The Tubeless Easy technology additionally supports these properties.

The Addix Soft rubber compound also increases traction, is longer lasting, has good rolling characteristics and ultimately better damping.

Equipped with the ECE-R75 certificate, the Schwalbe Big Betty tyre is approved for eBikes up to 50 km/h.

Please note: Only the 70-584 Super Trail version is approved for eBikes up to 25 km/h.

For fast eBikes up to 50 km/h For fast eBikes (S-Pedelecs with registration, insurance and pedal assistance even above 25 km/h) a special approval of the tyre is necessary. For these bikes, we recommend eBike tyres with the ECE-R75 approval valid throughout Europe.

TUBELESS EASY
The monofilament SnakeSkin fabric on the sidewall makes tubeless conversion for MTB extremely easy and safe. At the same time, it is the best cut protection on the sidewall. Tubeless Easy with SnakeSkin is the excellent tubeless standard of all Schwalbe MTB tyres of the EVOLUTION Line.
