Shimano STEPS BT-E8035 Intube Battery - 504 Wh

The Shimano Steps Intube battery BT-E8035 is the latest battery generation from Shimano. The new design of the BT-E8035 is slimmer than the previous model BT-E8020 and thus contributes to a chicer down tube appearance. The Shimano Steps BT-E8035 comes with powerful 504 Wh and creates depending on influencing factors such as rider weight, route topography and selected support mode up to 100 km range. The Li-ion battery is protected by a down tube cover, so that the Shimano BT-E8035 battery is protected from external influences.

Replacement and commissioning of the Shimano Steps BT-E8035

The exchange or removal of the e-bike battery is done by turning the key on the battery lock, whereby the battery comes out of the down tube a bit. For final removal, only the silver plate must be unlocked and the battery can be completely removed from the down tube.

The commissioning of the Shimano BT-E8035 Intube battery is done by the on / & off switch on the top tube. The Intube battery can be directly on the e-bike via a slim charging socket or charged in the removed state in any place with a socket.
