The Giant DirectMount Chainring is an original Giant spare part and 100% accurate.

This high-quality chainring is screwed directly to the mid-motor shaft. The chain line is 52 mm.

The steel chainring with 36 teeth is suitable for Giant electric bikes with SyncDrive-C Sport motor from model year 2019. It is not compatible with the Giant Syncdrive Pro motor.

How is the front chainline measured?

The chainline is measured from the centreline of the frame to the centre of the chain. You can easily measure the front chainline with a caliper. The caliper must be held against the seat tube and measured to the middle of the chainring. Thus, the chainline of the bike can be determined quickly and easily.

For which models is the chainring compatible?

Giant only used this chainring on Giant Stance and Fathom models as well as LIV Embolden and Vall-E models, if the model is equipped with the Syncdrive Sport motor.
In addition, the chainring is only compatible with 9- and 10-speed shifting systems that are used at the front of the motor in singlespeed mode.

It is not suitable for 12-speed shifting systems from Shimano and also not for SRAM Eagle.
