The chain tensioner for all Flyer Premium and Deluxe models from year of manufacture 2008 with derailleurs, is used for fixed guidance of the chain from the drive sprocket over the motor sprocket. Thereby, the non-oscillating or fixed chain tensioner takes over the function of a rigid chain guide. The actual "tension" of the chain takes over the rear derailleur.


The Flyer electric bike chain tensioner offered here for all Flyer electric bikes with Panasonic mid-motor drive and derailleur, the series "Premium" and "Deluxe" from 2008 to 2013/2014, is delivered as shown and allows the complete replacement of the chain tensioner unit if it is defective, rusted or worn.

Since this chain tensioner or this chain guide for Flyer electric bikes with derailleur, is an original product used by Flyer, this can also be replaced without much effort itself.
