Ergon GP5 handlebar grip

The Ergon GP5 handlebar grip is ideal for long e-bike tours or rides through uneven terrain. With its four different grip positions, the GP5 offers the highest performance in terms of ergonomics and long-distance comfort. Ergon has also redesigned the Fullsize - Multi Barend (horns), which promise even better ergonomics than ever before. The extra-large horns are made of glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP), which makes them particularly light and at the same time very stable.

Special feature: Compared to its smaller competitors (GP1, GP2, GP3 and GP4), the Ergon GP5 has an assembly-friendly clamping mechanism. Therefore, the assembly is very easy, even for laymen.

Ergon stands for perfect ergonomics

With the newly developed hand grips, Ergon provides a remedy for numb fingers and aching forearms or hands. Often the reason for this is the high pressure on the palm as well as a malposition of the wrists. This curvature of the wrists usually leads to a pinching of the carpal tunnel. Since the Ergon grip offers optimal positioning of the palms and the whole hand rests on it, the pressure is optimally distributed and the carpal tunnel is relieved, preventing the fingers or arms from falling asleep. A correct hand position is essential on long tours, which is why many professional cyclists swear by the Ergon GP5 handlebar grip.

• 1st zone: on the thumb, the smooth surface ensures minimal friction for shifting gears
• 2nd zone: at the heel of the hand there is medium friction - for a secure and cushioning grip and good control over the e-bike
