An extreme gear hub for extreme applications - that's the Enviolo EX Extreme gear hub. This gear hub was specially developed for use on cargo bikes with motors up to 100 Nm. It offers a maximum gear ratio of 380 % and is also characterised by its enormous load capacity. Thanks to its closed design, the Extreme hub from Enviolo is virtually maintenance-free and offers variable gear selection without fixed gear steps. With the 40-tooth mount, it is compatible with both manual shifting interfaces and the electronic AUTOMATiQ interface.

Installation and compatibility of the Enviolo Extreme hub gears

The hub is only suitable for rims with 36-hole spokes. The 9-spline freehub also allows the sprocket to be securely mounted using a lockring. Two versions are available for mounting in the frame: 135 mm solid axle for standard trekking rear triangles or the modular version for mounting on 148 mm rear triangles with thru axle. A suitable mounting kit is also required for the modular version.
