The Bosch cover cap protects the USB-C connection, which is located under the Bosch System Controller operating unit. To attach the small cover, the System Controller must be unscrewed and removed from the top tube. The USB-C port is concealed underneath. The Bosch cover cap prevents water from entering the connection. The diagnostic cable for the Diagnostic Tool 3 is connected via this port.
