Bosch Purion 400 Display Smart System

The Bosch Purion 400 Display Smart System is the perfect accessory for all eBike riders who value a compact yet powerful display. Despite its discreet size, the 1.6" colour display offers a good overview in landscape format. Data such as speed, current support level and battery status can be conveniently read while riding. There is also a small buzzer inside the display, which can emit acoustic notifications. Small and compact, the Purion 400 nestles into the right-hand handlebar triangle, which also protects it somewhat. Reading the display in direct sunlight is also no problem. Thanks to the high contrast and excellent resolution, information is easy to read in any lighting conditions. Like its predecessor, the Bosch Purion 400 has a sporty and elegant design. The material is robust and waterproof, so riding in the rain is no problem for the display.

Please note: You will need a display cable to connect it to your eBike. If you are retrofitting the Purion 400, we recommend the Bosch Purion 400 display retrofit set. This is supplied with a display cable.

Compatibility of the Bosch Purion 400 Display Smart System

The Purion 400 is compatible with all Bosch motors and Bosch batteries that are part of the Bosch Smart System. There are two options for use with other Bosch Smart System components. Option 1 is the combination of the Bosch Purion 400 display and the Bosch LED remote control unit. Option 2 combines the Bosch Purion 400 display with the Bosch System Controller on the top tube of your eBike. To use this option, the Bosch Mini Remote control unit is also required to control the Purion display. The Purion 400 is also compatible with the Bosch eBike Flow app. Fitness data, which you can also read off while riding, is stored here and can be called up again afterwards.

Installation of the Bosch Purion 400 Display Smart System

The Bosch Purion 400 can be attached to the handlebar of your eBike in just a few simple steps. The bracket is attached to the handlebar with a clamp to the right of the stem. To do this, loosen the small screw, place the clamp around the handlebar and tighten the screw again slightly. Then adjust the bracket to the desired position and finally tighten the screw. Finally, insert the Purion 400 display. The bracket is available in versions with 31.8 mm and 35 mm handlebar diameters.

You will need a display cable to connect the display to your eBike. The Bosch display cable for Smart System is required if you use the Purion 400 together with the Bosch LED Remote. The Bosch Y-cable for System Controller is required if you are using a combination of Purion 400, Bosch System Controller and Bosch Mini Remote. With this option, one of the two sockets on the back of the Purion 400 remains free. To prevent the ingress of dirt or water, you can insert a Bosch dummy plug into the free socket. This is available separately.
