It is mounted inside your battery compartment. When choosing the right mounting rail, be sure to pay attention to the orientation of your PowerTube 500 Wh battery. This is available as a horizontal and vertical version. The mounting variant for your battery is also decisive for choosing the right rail. If you insert it into a down tube that is open in a U-shape, you will need the pivot versions. However, if you push your PowerTube into a closed frame, then you need the axial version.

Please note that the mounting rail is only suitable for e-bikes with 500 Wh battery compartments. For e-bikes with larger battery compartments, you need the 625 Wh or 750 Wh mounting rail - even if you use a 500 Wh battery in it.
