Bosch Kiox 500 Display Retrofit Kit

With the Kiox 500 retrofit kit, you can retrofit your Bosch Smart System eBike with the practical display. The set contains all parts for a successful installation - the Bosch Kiox 500 display, the display bracket, a Bosch Smart System display cable and, if required, the matching Kiox 500 single arm bracket. To retrofit, attach all parts to your eBike and connect the Smart System Display to your Bosch LED Remote control unit on the handlebar. Now your new Kiox 500 display is ready for use and you are always well informed about your eBike.

KIOX 500: PART OF THE BOSCH SMART SYSTEM

With the introduction of the Smart System 2022, Bosch has comprehensively revised its eBike system. Almost all components and parts have been adapted and optimised. The biggest technical change is that the central control of the eBike now takes place via the Bosch LED remote handlebar control unit, or the Bosch System Controller. This means that you can now operate your Bosch eBike without a separate display. If you still don't want to do without the operating comfort and the extensive status information, the Kiox 500 retrofit set is available. The popular Bosch display can be retrofitted in just a few steps.

BOSCH KIOX 500 RETROFIT

For the retrofit, you only need to attach the Kiox 500 to your eBike and switch between the eBike drive and the LED Remote with the display cables. To do this, the first step is to mount the Bosch Smart System Display bracket on your bracket, if necessary on the supplied 1-arm bracket. Depending on how you want to mount the Kiox 500, you will need a different display bracket. Mounting in front of the handlebar - you need the mount with cable exit to the rear. Mounting behind or above the handlebar - you need the mount with cable exit in front. Now you can attach e.g. the single arm holder from the Kiox 500 conversion kit. Now take the existing display cable from the control unit and plug it into the Kiox 500 mount. Use the display cable from the conversion kit to reconnect the display holder to the LED Remote. This completes the assembly and the Kiox 500 is ready for use. The Bosch Smart System display cable is available in different cable lengths for optimum attachment to every e-bike. Choose the right length for your e-bike when ordering - from 10 centimetres to 2 metres.

The high-resolution eBike display from Bosch shines with high-quality workmanship and comprehensive functions. Here you will find all relevant information about your eBike such as battery status, range, selected assistance, speed and much more. The Kiox 500 display is controlled via your LED remote control on the handlebar. This way, you always have your eBike firmly under control and are still well informed. A small safety plate also prevents the Kiox 500 from being easily removed from the mount. However, a charging function for smartphones is not provided.
