The original Bosch guide rail adapter is required for mounting the carrier battery Fürhungsschiene on the carrier. The guide rail adapter acts below the front area of the guide rail as a vibration damper and effectively prevents noise development on uneven roads.


Where does the Bosch luggage carrier battery guide rail adapter sit?

  • The Bosch luggage carrier battery guide rail adapter is inserted into the rail between the guide rail and the luggage carrier tube for damping.
  • Depending on the design of the luggage carrier, the 4 mm or 8 mm adapter is required.
  • If the adapter is not used, the luggage carrier battery guide rail would rest directly on the luggage carrier tube and cause noise due to vibration.

The adapter is available for luggage carriers with 4 mm or 8 mm thickness.
