Bosch e-bike cable set frame battery pack - Active / Performance

Replace a broken or damaged battery cable - with the original Bosch frame battery cable set. The cable harness connects the drive unit with the frame battery of your e-bike. In case of a malfunction, the complete cable set can be replaced. To do this, the motor housing of your e-bike, as well as the battery holder must be opened. The exchange of the Bosch cable set frame battery requires technical knowledge of a mechanic. For this reason, an exchange should only be carried out by yourself if the assembly service via a specialist workshop is not possible.

Bosch battery cable replacement

This Bosch wiring harness is only suitable for frame-mounted batteries and compatible with Bosch Active & Performance Line motors from 2014 (not Smart System from 2022). To change the wiring harness you will need a set of Torx wrenches, a crank puller, the appropriate Bosch lock ring tool and a 1/2" ratchet. After carefully opening the motor housing and battery holder, you can replace the defective cable. When doing this, make sure that the Bosch battery cable harness has the right length. This is available in different lengths from 220mm to 1100mm.

Note: If you have an e-bike with a rack battery, you need the Bosch e-bike cable set rack battery.
