The Bosch PowerPack frame battery lock cylinder is the central security element for your e-bike battery. The battery lock securely attaches your e-bike battery to the frame and prevents it from falling out unintentionally. It also secures your PowerPack battery against theft. Together with the Bosch frame battery lock plastic housing, the ABUS lock cylinder forms the upper battery holder.

The e-bike frame battery lock cylinder for Bosch is available in numerous versions, with different key and cylinder types. No matter which variant you choose, a secure hold and protection against theft are provided by all of them. The different variants differ mainly in the shape of the key. The most modern battery locks are equipped with XPlus or Plus cylinders. These two cylinders also have the OneKey option for manufacturing locks with the same key.

Compatibility of the Bosch PowerPack lock cylinder from ABUS

You can use the battery lock on many e-bikes with Bosch Generation 2, 3 and 4 drives, including Active Line, Active Line Plus, Performance Line, Performance Line CX and Cargo Line motors. However, it is not compatible with motors of the Bosch Smart System or the Classic Line series. You have a free choice when selecting the desired cylinder. With some manufacturers, the lock is installed deeper, in this case we recommend the T83 cylinder with the long key. If you already have locks or keys from ABUS, we recommend the cylinder types Xplus or Plus. You can order these as keyed alike locks to match your existing locking system. ABUS OneKey on the Bosch BLO BOS DT2 battery locking cylinder

The two ABUS locking cylinders Plus and XPlus each have the useful OneKey option. This allows you to have individual locks made for you. This is particularly handy if you already have matching ABUS locks or keys. If you want to order a custom lock, be sure to specify your desired key number. You can do this most easily in the comment field when completing the order. Pay attention to the correct lock cylinder type. Key numbers for "Plus" cylinders always start with a digit, while "XPlus" key numbers always start with an "X".
